October Willow Meadows Civic Club Board Meeting Continues on Sunday

The previously announced Willow Meadows Civic Club (WMCC) Board Meeting was held as scheduled on Tuesday, October 9, 2018. However, owing to extensive discussions of budget and related matters, the agenda was not completely covered. The remainder of the agenda items, including some budget line items, will be addressed at a special WMCC Board Meeting on Sunday, October 14, 2018, at 2:00 PM in Room 209 of the Willow Meadows Baptist Church

September 2018 General Meeting Announcement

The third quarter General Meeting of the Willow Meadows Civic Club will take place on Tuesday, September 11th, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of the Willow Meadows Baptist Church, 4300 West Bellfort Dr., Houston, Texas 77035. Topics will include public comments, general association business, committee and management company reports, opening of the nomination period for the 2019 election of officers and board members, unfinished and new business, and a sense of the assembly.

Please note: In preceding years we have had challenges in getting enough people to run for the board, with as many as three open positions on the ballot. We need residents willing not only to attend two hours of board or general meetings each month, but we need motivated residents willing to work in a positive manner with their board colleagues and be willing to chair a committee or lead some initiative identified and endorsed by the board. We are in a time of great transition in post-Harvey Willow Meadows, and we need those committed to living here to work through the Civic Club to ensure that Willow Meadows continues to be an enjoyable and functional place to live and which thrives in the future.
