Community Public Safety Forum

There will be a Community Public Safety Forum on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 7:00pm at Fondren Middle School, 6333 South Braeswood Blvd.  This community forum will allow Houston area law enforcement agencies to introduce themselves, allow them the opportunity to explain their agency's roles and responsibilities, and discuss coordinated initiatives with other partnered law enforcement agencies.

Invited guests include HPD, Metro Police, HISD Police, Constable May Walker (Pct. 7) and Constable Ted Heap (Pct. 5), District Attorney's Office, and the Harris County Attorney's Office.  There will be a Q&A portion at the end of the meeting.

April 2017 Board Meeting Announcement

There will be a meeting of the Willow Meadows Civic Club Board of Directors on Sunday, April 2nd, 2017 at 7:00pm at Willow Meadows Baptist Church in Conference Room 209. Topics may include authorizing a lawsuit on certain accounts for deed restriction violations, initiation of deed restriction enforcement against certain homes, and general association business, including unfinished business and new business.


Willow Meadows Baptist Church Spring Fling May 20

Willow Meadows Baptist Church will be hosting a FREE community-wide Spring Fling on Saturday May 20th from 5pm to 7pm, to celebrate the end of another school year.  There will be games for all ages, hamster ball races, $1 hot dogs, and live music from local area bands.

Come out and enjoy the spring weather before the dog days of summer!


March 2017 General Meeting Announcement

The first quarter General Meeting will take place on Tuesday, March 14th, 2017 at 7:00pm in the Fellowship Hall of Willow Meadows Baptist Church, 4300 West Bellfort, Houston, Texas 77035. This meeting will feature a guest speaker, Vince Ryan, the County Attorney for Harris County. Topics will include general association business, standing committee reports, unfinished and new business (including an update on neighborhood construction and panhandling near Willow Meadows), and a "sense of the assembly."


Bird and Butterfly Garden Tour

Mark your calendars now for this year's Bird and Butterfly Garden Tour to be held 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Saturday, April 22 (rain or shine). Many native plants are featured in two very different landscape styles at 10107 Greenwillow and 4303 Firestone.

The purpose of the tour is to encourage neighbors to expand local habitats for birds, butterflies and bees by including these types of plants in their own yards.
